The way we work today is almost unrecognizable when compared with a decade ago. The same can be said for how we train and develop talent within our organizations.
The Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly expedited remote working and virtual teams, however it is worth pointing out that this was already the direction of flow.
At Business Simulations we recognised early the need for self-paced learning (SOLO) as an alternative approach to the traditional ‘classroom’ style.
Typically our Simulations are played in Teams (either on-site or virtually), however this synchronous working is not always possible, especially with the growth of remote virtual teams spread across the globe with multiple time zones.
Our first foray into a self-paced Simulation was with our High Performing Teams Sim CHAPTER, which majors on the Change Management and Process Improvement Skills needed to make a Team effective.
This intense 8 week programme was piloted with a global Technology/Services Company with participants rating the overall learning experience 4.38/5.
“It is difficult to overstate the difference between completing a Simulation like this and typical e-learning programmes in terms of both learner engagement levels and learning value. There simply is no comparison!” --- Project Sponsor

Buoyed by this success we were inspired to make more of our Simulation content available in this format, with our popular Business Acumen & Strategy Sim (XSIM) our latest release.
Over 5,000 Leaders and Managers have played XSIM in it’s traditional format. We are very excited to now offer it in our Self-Directed form (SOLO).

To celebrate the launch of XSIM SOLO we are giving away a limited number of play accounts to anyone that would like to try the programme. All we ask for is some short feedback at the end. An added bonus is if you complete the course you will receive a formal certificate of completion.
